Grupo Safa rebrands as Alliance Healthcare España
7 March 2007From today, in line with the new brand for the wholesale and distribution division of Alliance Boots plc, Grupo Safa will be rebranded as Alliance Healthcare España. The new brand will be showcased at Infarma, which takes place from 28 February – 2 March in Barcelona.
Our business now shares the name of the Division we belong to. Alliance Healthcare is a member of Alliance Boots 
, a leading international pharmacy-led health & beauty group. Our Group serves over 125,000 pharmacies, hospitals and health centres via 380 depots in 14 countries, including associates.
Our new name, Alliance Healthcare España, reflects the value we place on partnerships across the healthcare sector. Healthcare is in our genes and we are very proud to work in such a unique and rewarding sector. The new identity is focused on “bringing healthcare” closer to show the permanent commitment to offering a large range of innovative and reliable solutions for pharmacists and manufacturers.
The Spanish companies which make up Alliance Healthcare España remain the same as those belonging to Grupo Safa. The companies will maintain their fiscal registers and names, but will be grouped under the new umbrella brand Alliance Healthcare España.
