France: Bertrand Louis Lablancherie becomes Director of Industry Relations at Alliance Healthcare France
5 June 2007Bertrand Louis Lablancherie recently joined Alliance Healthcare France as Director of Industry Relations, reporting to Jean-Louis Méry, President and Chief Executive of Alliance Healthcare France. Bertrand is a member of the business unit's Executive Committee and is responsible, in particular, for developing the range of services provided to the industry and also for co-ordinating relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
"His international experience makes him a natural spokesperson within our company to communicate with pharmaceutical manufacturers, who are now able to benefit from new range and tailored services specifically developed by the different functions (such as distribution, direct marketing, promotion, etc.) of our business," says Jean-Louis Méry.
Bertrand Louis Lablancherie is 46 years old and has an MBA in Law & International Management from the University of Georgetown (USA). He has spent most of his career working for pharmaceutical companies. In particular, he was Commerce Director at Sanofi Pharma International (1986 88) and then Operations Director at Baxter Corp (1988 93), followed by International Commercial Director for Labiana & Fleurimon (1993 99), after which he joined the Arkopharma group as Director for Asia and the Pacific (1999-2001). From 2001 onwards, Mr Lablancherie worked as International Operations Director for Innotech International.
